Our History
Founded in 1988 by Jim and Tilly Hurlburt, Heritage Wood Restoration began as a family business built on a passion for log homes, quality craftsmanship, and helping homeowners protect their investment.
Paul Hurlburt began working alongside his father at just 14 years old. From an early age, he dedicated himself to learning the log home industry, gaining hands-on knowledge of the restoration process while building strong relationships throughout the industry.
That early experience became the foundation for the next chapter of Heritage Wood Restoration. Paul and his wife, Terri, took over the family business, continuing the legacy established by Jim and Tilly while bringing their own experience, dedication, and commitment to quality into the company.

Heritage Wood Restoration remains a family-owned company with over 35 years of experience specializing in mobile log home restoration, wood restoration, and maintenance services.
Based in Craighurst, Ontario, we proudly serve homeowners throughout the province, with completed projects across Muskoka, Kawartha Lakes, Bruce County, the Greater Toronto Area, Simcoe County, and surrounding communities.
From restoration and media blasting to staining and ongoing maintenance, we provide personalized solutions tailored to each property's unique needs. We take pride in quality workmanship, attention to detail, and treating every home with the care it deserves.
